Young man shot to death in District Heights

District Heights, MD – Prince George’s County Police Department Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening in District Heights. The victim was 20-year-old Tyler Fludd, a resident of Hyattsville. Authorities are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

On February 2, at approximately 5:20 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the 5400 block of Silver Hill Road. Upon arrival, officers found Fludd outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

Detectives are currently working to determine a motive and identify any suspect or suspects involved in the incident. The investigation remains ongoing.
