Young Woman Struck By Bullet While Driving Through Baltimore Crossfire

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – A woman was critically injured after being shot early yesterday morning by a stray bullet while driving in Southwest Baltimore.

In the early hours of September 14, 2023, at approximately 12:36 a.m., a police officer conducting routine patrol was alerted by an adult female who reported being the victim of a shooting incident.

Without delay, medics were dispatched to the scene, where they provided immediate care and subsequently transported the victim, a 27-year-old female, to an area hospital.

As investigators delve into the details of the shooting, they have learned that the victim was driving in the vicinity of Payson and Lexington Street when she realized she had been struck.
