HS WRESTLING: Jackson Memorial Edges Brick Memorial 34-29

The Jackson Memorial High School wrestling team used three pins and a major decision to help defeat visiting Brick Memorial on Wednesday, 34-29.

Carsten Digiantomasso, Michael Spino and Tanner Kelly had pins for the Jaguars and Matt McGowan won a technical fall over Justin Intile at 132 pounds. Jackson Memorial also got major decisions from Tim Hamann and Adante Davis and Jay Epperly won a 2-0 decision in a tie breaker over Casey Wines at 152 pounds.

Gianni Ghione and Anthony Mitchell had pins for the Mustangs. Matt Wardlaw won a 12-2 major decision over Brandon Burkert at 113 pounds and Luke Vescovi won a 13-2 major decision over Michael Christie at 138 pounds. Brick Memorial also won three decisions.
