TOMS RIVER, NJ – In December, it was announced that the popular local burger joint, Burger 25 was going to replace the beloved Wolfie’s Deli on Route 37.  Then, as the transformation was happening, COVID-19 came.  Owner Denise Vetter was hoping to open in their new location this past spring, but that wasn’t possible with the pandemic shutdown.  Those plans were put on hold, but tonight, Burger 25 is officially open for indoor dining.

They were able to reopen in late July with an outdoor dining patio and takeout.

Customers of course were not able to enjoy the massive amount of work the family did on the inside, completely renovating the entire place to allow for 88 diners at a time with booths and high top tables.   Under COVID-19 restrictions only 22 diners at a time will be allowed.

The restaurant serves great American style comfort food.  Other than burgers, you’ll find chicken and waffles, salads, wings party boxes, and a full kids menu with meals for just $6 per child.
