Bridgeport player hits $1 million jackpot on Ultimate 7s scratch-off

BRIDGEPORT, CT – A Bridgeport lottery player has claimed a massive $1 million top prize after purchasing a winning Ultimate 7s scratch-off ticket, making them the latest instant millionaire in Connecticut.

The ticket was sold at Grand Package Store in Bridgeport and was claimed on September 30. This marks one of the highest prize tiers offered in the state’s current portfolio of scratch-off games.

The Connecticut Lottery has not released the identity of the winner. Grand Package Store, the retailer that sold the winning ticket, is also eligible for a bonus from the Lottery for selling a top-prize winning ticket.

Ultimate 7s is a high-stakes instant ticket offering large prizes for lucky players. Winners of prizes of $1 million or more must claim their winnings at the Connecticut Lottery headquarters in Wallingford.
