$1.2 million Match 6 Lotto ticket sold at Westmoreland County truck stop
SOUTH HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery player struck it big over the weekend after purchasing a jackpot-winning Match 6 Lotto ticket worth $1.2 million at a truck stop in Westmoreland County, officials confirmed Monday.
The winning ticket was sold at Smithton Truck & Auto Plaza (CITGO), located at 138 Motordrome Road. It correctly matched all six numbers drawn in Saturday’s Match 6 Lotto drawing: 17, 20, 21, 30, 37, and 38. The lucky retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
As of Monday, the identity of the winner remains unknown. All prizes must be claimed and validated before a winner is officially announced. Match 6 winners have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, over 43,200 other Match 6 Lotto tickets also won prizes in Saturday’s drawing. Players who purchased tickets are encouraged to check them carefully.
