TOMS RIVER-Celebrating the grand opening of a new business, “Down the Hatchet” in Toms River, the mayor and council wished much success to Toms River’s newest venue.

Mayor Kelaher, Councilman Mo Hill, Councilwoman Laurie Huryk and Karen Hershey from the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce attended the Grand Opening of Down the Hatchet in Silverton.

Located on Hooper Avenue in the same plaza as the Silverton Buy-Rite, JBJ Soul Kitchen and Kohr’s Frozen Custard, Down the Hatchet offers a social axe throwing experience in addition to hosting leagues, tournaments, parties, and corporate events.

Down the Hatchet supports all heroes. Those in the military, law enforcement, fire fighters, nurses and EMTs will always get a discounted rate at Down the Hatchet as a thank you for their service to the community.
