Andy Kim Lies to New Jersey Again, Votes “YES” for Nancy Pelosi

WASHINGTON, DC-It didn’t take freshman New Jersey Congressman Andy Kim, a hardline progress liberal, to break his first campaign promise.  On the campaign trail, Andy Kim, who defeated Tom MacArthur in Ocean and Burlington Counties said he was going to Washington, D.C. to represent a new generation of Democrats.  One of his campaign promises was to support new leadership in the Democrat Party and oppose Nancy Pelosi’s bid to be the Speaker of the House.

When it came time to represent his constituents who wanted him to go to D.C. to reshape the Democrat party with fresh, new leadership, Kim ignored his campaign trail promise and voted for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.

Aside from his first action in Congress breaking a campaign trail promise, Kim had an embarrassing first day of school.  It started out with him sitting with Republicans, before being told he was in the wrong seat.  He quickly scurried over to the Democrat side of the chamber where he took his seat amongst his own people.

Back in June, Kim, the self-proclaimed brainchild behind the nation’s strategy to defeat ISIS in Iraq sang a different tune than the one he played for Pelosi on Thursday.  When asked if he was going to fall in line behind the elder stateswoman, Kim said no, the nation needs new leadership.

“When I worked in Afghanistan, no one asked me if I was a Democrat or Republican, we just focused on serving the American people,” Kim said in an interview. “As I’m now working to help my community here in New Jersey, it’s time we have new leadership on both sides of the aisle in Washington to get the job done.”

It’s not the first time Andy Kim lied about his intentions in Congress or even his past.

He tried to cover up a radical leftist revolutionary group he founded.  He claimed he was a high-level staffer directing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, giving valuable consulting advice to military leaders, although the only entry of his involvement in the wars identifies him as a “note-taker”.     He even told the tale of how General James “Mad Dog” Mattis once asked his permission to allow his junior Marine Corps officers into a meeting.

Andy Kim has worked his way up from being a note-taker for former President Barrack Obama, sitting in on meetings while 44 entertained esteemed White House guests such as the leaders of the Nation of Islam to being a United States Congressman.

Not all of New Jersey’s Democrat Congressmen voted for Pelosi.  Mikie Sherrill voted for Illinois Democrat Cheri Bustos.

Jeff Van Drew simply voted “present”.
