Manchester Mayor Commends Newly Christened EMS Service

MANCHESTER-So far, so good. That’s the vibe coming out of Manchester as Mayor Ken Palmer said the town’s new municipal EMT services, which launched just days before the coronavirus outbreak is faring.

“On March 1, we commenced our Township EMS. As little as 8 days later the Corona virus reared it’s self and I can assure our EMTs haven’t blinked,” Palmer said. “To date, our EMTs are answering 90% of all calls with an average response time of under 9 minutes. They have been professional, courteous and effective. I, as well as the Town Council am extremely proud of the work they have and will continue to do. Great Job and be safe.”
