LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Captain’s Inn restaurant has closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. This comes days after the Ocean County Republican Party hosted their annual deck party fundraiser, attended by mayors, freeholders and elected officials from throughout the county.

“We were just notified that due to an outside influence one of our employees has tested positive, although the individual is not exhibiting any symptoms. For the safety of our staff and patrons we will be temporarily closed to professionally sanitize and disinfect our property,” the restaurant said. “We will reopen for business on Tuesday at 11:30.”
