After Arrest of Gym Owners, Murphy Administration Sets Sights Diner in Lacey Township

LACEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Lakeside Diner in Forked River is now public enemy number one in the administration of Governor Phil Murphy.  Last week, the Murphy administration facilitated the arrests of two gym owners in Bellmawr and today, Lt. Colonel Patrick Callahan of the New Jersey State Police said the Lakeside Diner is next.  The restaurant, according to Callahan has received multiple executive order violations for serving patrons indoor and today, the owners were served with a closure order by the Department of Health.  The restaurant has received the support of the community for challenging Murphy’s executive orders by serving food indoors, in accordance with federal guidelines set forth by the Center for Disease Control.

The diner claims their opening is a protest in defiance of the draconian executive orders issued by Governor Phil Murphy that have choked businesses statewide.
