DENVER, CO – A left-wing security guard hired by a local news station, KUSA-TV 9News shot and killed a U.S. military veteran at a Denver Patriot Rally on Saturday.  The incident was captured on video.  Matthew Robert Dolloff and Lee Kelter physically engaged with each other.  Kelter hit Dolloff, then sprayed him with mace, before Dolloff pulled his gun and shot Kelter in the head, instantly killing him.  The news station hired Dolloff from the Pinkerton security agency.  Kelter was shot next to his son outside the Denver Art Museum.

Dolloff, who attended the rally had a history of posting left-wing rhetoric on social media and several anti-Donald Trump messages.  It has not been confirmed that Dolloff had any affiliation or ties to Antifa.  Dolloff had called Trump a “fascist dictator” on Facebook in the past.

The event was a “dueling protest” between the “Patriot Muster”, a pro-police rally and a “Black Lives Matter Anti-Fascist Soup Drive” hosted by several Denver area communist organizations.

“My son Lee was at the patriot rally today in Denver,” said Keltner’s mom Carol.  “After the rally a person on the BLM and Antifa side went up to him said a few nasty words then shot him in the head. He was murdered because he backed the police.”

Keltner, a self-employed hatmaker at his company, Crossfire Hats for the past 21 years.   Dolloff was arrested by nearby police within seconds of the shooting.
