GOLDEN GATE, FL – The Collier County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people today and charged them with trafficking in fentanyl, the powerful and often-deadly synthetic opioid. Jacob Nathaniel Vititoe, 23, and Tamara Sundquist, 41, both of Golden Gate, are each charged with trafficking in fentanyl 4 grams or more.
About 5:45 a.m., detectives with the Vice and Narcotics Bureau, along with members of the SWAT and SET/ACE Team, executed a search warrant at the residence Vititoe and Sundquist share at 2280 Santa Barbara Blvd., Unit A, following an investigation into illicit narcotic activity.
During the execution of the warrant, a search of the residence turned up the following:
-Fentanyl – 19 grams
-Methamphetamine – 23 grams
-THC oil – 36 grams
-Marijuana – 7.4 grams
-Buprenorphine hydrochloride – 12.8 grams
-Diazepam – 4.1 grams
-Morphine – 4.3 grams
Deputies also found narcotic paraphernalia including drug sale ledgers, $2,820 cash, and plastic bags, digital scales and glass pipes with residue. All of the collected evidence indicated drug possession and sales were taking place at the residence.
Sundquist and Vititoe face additional charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana under 20 grams, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
Sundquist is also charged with failure to register as a convicted felon.
