WAUKENA, CA – A clerk at the Wuakena market was shot to death and police are now looking for two suspected gunmen. This normally quiet rural area was rocked by gunshots Monday night. Just before 7:15 pm on Monday, Tulare County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the Waukena Market in the 2800 block of Waukena Drive Waukena for multiple reports of a man with a gun.
While Deputies were en route, another person called 911 and reported that someone had been shot. Deputies and Corcoran PD responded to the scene and found the store clerk shot to death inside the store. Homicide Detectives are on scene right now investigating.
