Monday Night Football Matchup: Bills, Patriots Odds

Shore News Network

FOXBORO, MA –   The Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots will face off tonight to close out the 2020 NFL Monday Night Football schedule. The last Monday night game of the regular season takes place at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA.

“It has been the changing of the guard in the AFC East as the Bills are the Division Champs for the first time since 1995,” said Joe Wiz.  “Buffalo is led by QB Josh Allen who has established himself as one of the elite QBs in the entire NFL and a true MVP candidate.”

This season, Allen has 39 touchdown passes, just 9 interceptions, and 8 rushing touchdowns. In his last game, Allen torched the Broncos as he had four touchdowns to lead the Bills in a 48-19 Win.

“New England lost any hope of keeping its slim play hopes alive when then lost at Miami last week 22-12,” Wiz added. “In the last two games, they have been outscored 46-15. This also snapped the Pats record of 11 straight years of making the playoffs.”

We’re not sure what to expect from the Patriots tonight with Head Coach Bill Belichick now exploring his quarterback options.

“Will he ride the entire game with Newton or get some snaps for back up Stidham?” Wiz said is a critical question ahead of the game for bettors.  “One thing we do know the Pats are 10-1 ATS as home dogs their last 11 games and 16-2 ATS as a dog off a loss.”

Right Now the Bills occupy the #2 seed and would like to protect that position in the event Kansas City falters. Then, the Bills would secure home-field advantage in frigid Orchard Park in January.

Buffalo beat New England on November 1st in a hard-fought 24-21 contest.   The Bills have won four in a row and seven of their last game games, their only loss in the last two months was that Hail Mary at Arizona. The updated line for tonight’s contest has Buffalo favored by 7 points and the Total is 46.5.

“It’s 2020 and anything can happen,” Joe Wiz said. “Will the Pats be motivated to get to a .500 season as they have the Jets up next or will Buffalo continue to press hard and carry momentum into the Playoffs?

The Patriots come into this game having played six straight unders and they don’t want to get into a shootout with the high flying Bills. The College Bowl season is in Full Swing,  Get details on the Bowl Package and NFL Playoffs.
