After being stabbed on Christmas man with broken knife lodged in body was able to help police arrest perp

JACKSON COUNTY, FL -A man who was stabbed multiple times on Christmas day, with a broken knife lodged in his arm was able to provide police with enough information to make an arrest.

On Christmas evening the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Jackson Hospital regarding a stabbing victim that had arrived at their facility. The victim was being treated for numerous stab wounds to his upper body to include his head, chest, and arms.

Deputies observed that the knife blade was broken off in his arm and remained lodged there. He was able to identify his attacker as Timothy Adam Coulliette of Marianna. The victim stated that he was attempting to break up two females that were fighting when he was attacked by Coulliette. A warrant was obtained for the arrest of Coulliette and a regional BOLO was issued. He was located by Leon County Law Enforcement officials in the early morning hours of December 27th and subsequently arrested. Timothy Coulliette was charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Felony Battery. He will be extradited back to Jackson County to face charges.
