Frederick Man Charged for Capitol Incursion

FREDERICK, MD  – A 26-year-old man from Frederick, Maryland has been arrested for his part in the January 6th U.S. Capitol uprising.  Nicholas Rodean was one of the more iconic figures photographed during the incursion at the nation’s capital.

Nicholas Rodean was charged with one count of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted building or grounds without law authority; one count of knowingly, with intent to impede government business or official functions, engaging in disorderly conduct on capitol grounds; and one count of and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in the capitol buildings. Rodean was arrested today in Washington, D.C.

Rodean turned himself into police in Washington D.C.   Rodean was prominently pictured near QAnon member Jacob Chansley, who was wearing horns and waving an American flag during the incursion.
