Do you know her? She stole a Chihuahua puppy from home in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, CA – On January 28, 2021, at approximately 4:08 p.m., the Beaumont Police Department was contacted by a victim reporting two subjects had just driven away with her puppy. The victim reported while outside playing with her 5-week old puppies, a Hispanic male and female pulled up to her residence in the 1000 block of Edgar Avenue.

The couple inquired about a trailer for sale and then asked the victim if they could hold one of the puppies. The female passenger was holding the five-week old tan colored Chihuahua inside the vehicle and inquired about purchasing the puppy.

While the victim was distracted the subjects drove away taking the puppy with them. The couple was last seen driving a white truck, possibly a diesel. The male driver was described as light-skinned with scraggly ear-length black hair.

The female was described in her 20’s, as light-skinned, with long black hair, brown eyes and well-manicured fingernails. This case is still under investigation and if anyone has information identifying this couple please contact the On-Duty Watch Commander at 951-769-8500.
