MIAMI BEACH, FL – This afternoon at approximately 5:30 p.m., Miami Beach police officers responded to the scene of a single-vehicle traffic crash at 8 Street and West Avenue.
The driver was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital where he unfortunately died. It is believed he suffered a medical emergency while driving. Traffic has since been reopened. No one else was injured.
No further details have been released.
