McAllen, Texas – Illegal immigrants who have been cleared from the McAllen, Texas central processing station are regularly being released from the federal facility and into the streets of the city. Immigrants are then processed through Catholic Charities where they will eventually be sent to destinations across America.
Washington Examiner reporter Anna Giaritelli reports, “I’m in McAllen, TX where Border Patrol is releasing families around the clock and testing them before they are walked over to a Catholic Charities shelter. From here, families will depart for destinations across the US. Note: no ankle monitors like in 2019.”
