Trump to spend summer in New Jersey during heated race for Governor

Guess who’s coming to New Jersey? Former U.S. President Donald J. Trump is heading to his Bedminster estate this week while his Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach shuts down for the summer. The Florida golf resort closes in May according to sources due to the extreme heat of Florida in the summer months.

Trump will be moving his entire 45Office operation from Florida to New Jersey and will return to Florida to escape the harsh cold New Jersey winter. Trump will be in New Jersey during the dog days of summer and in the middle of the battle between Democrat Governor Phil Murphy and whoever his Republican challenger will be.

Who is President Trump endorsing for Governor of New Jersey?

The race for Governor on the Republican side will be decided in a primary election between Conservative Trump supporter Hirsh Singh, never Trumper Jack Ciattarelli and Phil Rizzo, who said he did not vote for Trump in 2016.

Singh has been one of the former President’s staunchest supporters for years and is running under the “MAGA” campaign slogan in honor of the President.

Ciattarelli has the blue state’s establishment backing, but it’s not expected that Trump will jump on that bandwagon. Ciattarelli has said Trump was “unfit to be President of the United States” and called the former President a charlatan. Ciattarelli also said he did not vote for Donald Trump.

Trump has yet to pick a horse in the race, but this week, former Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale called Singh “the real deal”.
