KENT, OH – On May 6, 2021, Kent Police detectives in conjunction with the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task force executed a search warrant in the 900 block of S. Lincoln St. Investigators discovered images depicting child [censored]ography. One suspect was arrested.
He is identified as 29 year old male Tyler Williams, who is also a registered sex offender. Mr. Williams is charged with Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor. He has been arraigned in the Portage County Municipal Court and is currently being held in the Portage County Jail. Additional charges are likely after review by the Portage County Prosecutor’s Office.
