Suspect arrested for home burglary in Evesham

EVESHAM TWP, NJ – On May 14, 2021, during the early morning hours, the Evesham Police Department received a call from a homeowner, reporting that she heard someone attempting to access her rear sliding glass door. The homeowner reported seeing a male subject flee on foot after seeing the resident.

While on the scene, another resident in the area approached officers and advised that his house was broken into via the rear sliding door and the suspect stole cash and credit cards from a purse inside the residence. A responding officer observed a suspicious vehicle in the area that appeared unoccupied.

After further investigation, a male was located, lying along the front floorboard, inside of the vehicle. The male matched the description of the suspect in the burglary investigation and was taken into custody without incident. Another victim was able to be identified based on the proceeds of the crime located in the suspect’s vehicle.


Arrested: Peter G. Hall, age 25, of Somerdale, NJ was charged with Burglary, Theft and Attempted Burglary.

He was lodged in the Burlington County Jail. The success of the Evesham Police Department is enhanced by the active involvement of Evesham residents.
