Two charged for rape of Johnson City girl, drugs

JOHNSON CITY, NY – Johnson City Police Detectives investigated an alleged rape of a 14-year-old female and executed a search warrant at a residence located on Brown Street within the village. While executing the search warrant, 2 males attempted to flee by exiting a rear second-story window onto a rooftop. When the males were approached by detectives the males retreated back into the residence. As detectives entered the residence, the two males were holding items in their hands which were identified as illegal narcotics. Large amounts of drug packing material and several other items of evidence related to the sexual offense. Johnson City Police charged Rayshawn J. Thompson, age 36 of Johnson City, and Elgui Javier, Age 27 of Bronx, NY
