Do you know him? Police searching for Winslow Township bank robbery suspect

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ –  Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Winslow Township Police Chief George Smith announce a second investigation this week into a bank robbery, which was reported at approximately 7:00 p.m. on July 16, 2021.

The suspect is a white male, who entered the Shoprite Supermarket located at 542 Berlin Cross Keys Road in Winslow.  He is alleged to have placed some items into a shopping basket and then approached a teller at the PNC Bank, which was located inside the supermarket. The male then passed a note to the teller demanding money in specific denominations. In the note, the male threatened to shoot the teller, if he did not comply.

The suspect is described as having a thin build, bald, with a beard.  He was wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans. The male left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and entered a dark colored Hyundai SUV, which was parked in the supermarket parking lot. The male and the vehicle were captured on the supermarket surveillance video.
