ORLANDO, FL – When Teddy was rescued by a local shelter, it quickly became known that he had over 100 buckshot and bb pellets lodged inside his body. The local shelter called upon Poodle and Pooch Rescue of Florida to help them.

Teddy had likely been living with the projectiles inside him for quite some time Poodle & Pooch Rescue of Florida said. Now, they are hoping to be able to allow him to live his life out comfortably.

“Teddy came into a local shelter with a head and neck full of buckshot/pellets/bb’s and they asked for our help. As you can see, he probably has close to 100 pellets embedded in his body. Sadly, he’s likely lived with them a while as he doesn’t have any open wounds,” they said. “He’s comfortable with our vet this evening and tomorrow he will receive a thorough exam and vetting plan. We don’t know what his life was like before, but we are going to give him the life he deserves.”
