COLUMBUS, OH – On September 2, 2021 at 12pm, the victim planned to meet someone at Amberley Square apartments, on Brandy Dr. to buy a pair of Nike Air Jordan sneakers.
The victim met a 16-year-old male, 19-year-old Rasad Morrison and one other unknown person. The victim was sitting in his car when the suspects got into his car and all of the suspects pointed guns at the victim. The 16-year-old suspect forced the victim, at gunpoint, to unlock his IPhone, open his Cash App & make the victim to transfer money to his Cash App account.
The suspects then forced the victim to drive his car to an ATM and withdrawal money.
After leaving the ATM, the suspects drove the victim’s car to the area of Kimberly Parkway E. and Macsway Ave. where they were stopped by police.
The driver of the victim’s car wrecked into a tree. All of the occupants ran from the car. The suspect and Morrison were both arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery, Robbery, and Kidnapping.
