LAS VEGAS, NV – A Las Vegas mom is demanding that her son’s substitute teacher be fired after the teacher taped his face mask to his face for not wearing it properly.

“I was furious. I was scared for my son,” the mom who wished to remain anonymous said. “The entire class was laughing.”

The incident happened at the Carolyn S. Reedom Elementary School in Las Vegas. The incident was discovered by a school administrator who alerted the principal. The principal investigated and allegedly found other students had their masks taped to their faces.

“The district is aware of the isolated incident and is dealing with the employee through the proper channels,” the Clark County School District said in a statement. “The principal proactively notified the family of the investigation.”
