U.S. President Joe Biden has lived a long and eventful life, perhaps sometimes not as eventful as the President claims. The president is usually fact-checked after telling his routine tall tales and embellishments. This time, he claimed, while in Idaho, as a Delaware kid, his first job offer was in Idaho.

“My deceased wife and I wanted to move to Idaho, it’s such a beautiful state,” Biden said. “So I interviewed at Boise Cascade, in the meantime, there was a war going on.”

“We have no record of President Biden’s application or of him having worked for the company,“ Boise Cascade spokeswoman Lisa Tschampl told the New York Post. “We checked our system internally, and nothing has turned up.”
