Woman shot while sitting in car listening to music in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – On September 13, 2021 at 8:03pm, Columbus Police Officers responded to the area of 300 block of S. High St. on the report that someone was driving to that location who had been shot somewhere else.

Officers arrived and made contact with 37-year-old Keisha Campbell who stated that she had been shot in the leg. Campbell was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

Campbell stated that she was in her vehicle listening to music with some friends when she heard a loud bang and then she felt her leg burning. She doesn’t know who could have shot her or why.

This incident is still under investigation. This is the city’s 1105th Felonious Assault in 2021.
