Governor Hogan Announces Judicial Appointment for Baltimore County Attorney’s Office

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan today announced Garret Peter Glennon as judicial appointee for the Baltimore County Circuit Court. 

“As an experienced advocate for the law, Garret Glennon will be a tremendous asset to the judiciary,” said Governor Hogan. “I have every confidence that Mr. Glennon will continue to serve the citizens of Baltimore County with honor and dedication in his new role.”

Garret Glennon has served at the Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office for more than two decades. As the chief of the Circuit Court Division for the past 12 years, he has been responsible for the prosecution of Baltimore County’s homicide cases, including the supervision of the attorneys and support staff. Glennon also serves as legal counsel to the Baltimore County Police Department’s Homicide Unit, assisting with the homicide investigations. Previously, he was chief of the Felony Review Division, evaluating thousands of cases for legal sufficiency.  


He obtained his B.A. from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
