EDINBURG, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol (RGV) agents arrested 35 migrants at two locations with the assistance of federal and local partners.

Deputies advised a white Ford F-150 drove through a private property fence before coming to a stop, where multiple people fled. Agents responded to the location and apprehended 14 migrants with the assistance of air units.

That evening, RGV agents received information that a residence in Edinburg was harboring smuggled migrants.  Agents responded to the location with federal and local partners and encountered 21 adults illegally present in the United States.  The migrants were identified as nationals of Honduras and El Salvador. No smugglers were identified at the location.

All subjects were processed accordingly.
