Baltimore Police Investigate Shooting

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – On October 5, 2021, at approximately 2:28 a.m., Southern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 400 block of South Payson Street for a shooting investigation.

When officers arrived at the location, officers located a 48-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the face. Medic transported the victim to an area hospital, listed in stable condition. Southern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation.
