TBS gets trolled with Let’s Go Brandon sign during Dodger vs. Giants playoff game

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Inside Oracle Park a few fans carried signs that read, “Let’s Go Brandon” and at one point, TBS broadcast one of the signs, getting “Brandoned”.

The San Francisco Giants are a team of two Brandons. While out-of-touch sportscasters might have suspected the sign was in support of Giants’ shortstop Brandon Crawford, or perhaps first baseman Brian Belt, it’s a reference to NBC’s coverage during a recent NASCAR event. Either way, the sign wins the internet, for today anyway.

The sign was a classic play on the meme, transcending real life. It didn’t work. The Dodgers later went on to win the series.
