44 Year-Old Woman Shot and Killed in Southeast D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the 2200 block of Nicholson Street, Southeast.

At approximately 1:22 am, a member of the Sixth District was on patrol, at the listed location, when he discovered an adult female victim, unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and found that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The decedent has been identified as44 year-oldSharon Robinson,of no fixed address.
