Man shot and killed in Camden

Camden, N.J. – Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Camden, announced Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

Officers responded to Jackson Street and Warsaw Street at approximately 3:21 p.m. Friday and located a male suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. He has been identified as Lamont Demby, 28, of Camden.

The victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital. He was pronounced deceased at 4:11 p.m.
