Thanks to Joe Biden, Jimmy Carter has lived to outlive his reputation of worst president ever

The happiest guy in the world right now is Jimmy Carter, because he’s out of the history books for being the worst U.S. President ever. That’s how one American described the dismal performance of current U.S. President Joe Biden.

Move over Jimmy Carter, there’s a new sheriff in town.

Like Joe Biden, Jimmy Carter came to Washington hoping he could change the world but realized his ambitions were too high and truly believed he could put politicians in line.

Instead, his presidency was wrought with crisis after crisis. There was the Iran hostage crisis, gas shortages, and one of the worst economic eras since the Great Depression. Biden oversaw double-digit inflation and a downturn in public confidence in many economic sectors.

Biden has essentially taken the Carter administration and multiplied the problems he is facing now. Cracks in the Biden administration had been recognizable since he took office, but it wasn’t until the botched withdrawal in Afghanistan before his presidency ran off the rails.

Now, Biden is dealing with multiple crises and he and his administration don’t have many answers. From the supply chain crisis, expected to last well into 2022 to the border crisis which has been unanswered, Biden is facing sharp criticism from the right.

Even within his own party, Biden is having trouble bringing the Democrat-controlled House and Senate together to garner support for his sweeping infrastructure and reconciliation bills.

The Biden administration has been a trainwreck in recent months and there’s no indication that he can turn it around, especially by the time the 2022 midterms come around.
