McConnell: U.S. Senate will reject Democratic voting rights bill

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell predicted on Wednesday that the Senate would reject the latest effort by Democrats to open debate on voting rights legislation, in a procedural vote set for later in the day.
