$2.2 Million Multi-Match Jackpot-Winning Ticket Sold in Eden

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Congratulations to our new multimillionaire! The Maryland Lottery is looking for a luckyMulti-Matchplayer who won the $2.2 million jackpot in the Thursday, Nov. 4 drawing.

The winner, who is the fifth player to hit aMulti-Matchjackpot in 2021, can choose between the estimated annuity prize of $2.2 million or an estimated $1.85 million cash option (before taxes). The player bought the winning ticket, which has the numbers 9, 13, 22, 24, 28 and 41, from Eden Quick Stop at 31680 Eden Allen Road in Eden.

Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe location. The winner has 182 days after the date of the drawing to claim the prize.

Instructions on claiming prizes in person or by mail are availableHERE. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 at Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore, or by mail. The Lottery’s Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only (no walk-ins). Clickhereto schedule an appointment. Winners can also drop off a winning ticket along with a completed claim form and copies of their photo ID and proof of Social Security/Tax ID number in the Lottery drop box in the Montgomery Park Business Center lobby.

The lucky Somerset County retailer will receive a $2,200 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

A Baltimore County woman won a$2.75 million jackpoton Feb. 4 on a ticket sold by 7-Eleven #32287 in Owings Mills. A Rockville resident won a$1.4 million jackpothit on April 22 on a ticket purcahsed at Giant #319 in Rockville. A subscriber won the$520,000 jackpoton May 3. And, a$1 million winning ticketwas sold at Germantown Beer & Wine in Germantown for the July 5 drawing.

Multi-Matchmade its debut in 2006, and the top three jackpot wins in the game’s history were $4.8 million on Sept. 19, 2009; $4.45 million on March 18, 2010 and $3.8 million on Dec. 16, 2010.
