D.C. Murder rate hits 16 year high

Fox News reported that Washington D.C.’s murder rate hit a 16 year high in the Democrat-run city, during a segment on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends First” with Carley Shimkus and Todd Piro on 11/17/2021.

“Washington D.C.’s murder rate hitting a a16-year high,” Fox News reported. “The Democrat-run city recording its 199th homicide this week. That’s 13 percent higher than this time last year.”

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser says the city has violence interrupter initiatives in place and is increasing police presence.
