Cambridge woman arrested after stabbing spouse

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On Monday, December 6, 2021deputies from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office responded to 5548 Bonnie Brook Road, Cambridge, Md. for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival Deputies made contact with 30-year-old Carolyn Parks who was standing in the front yard with her hands in the air stating, “It’s me , I did it.”

When deputies entered the residence they located the victim sitting in a chair in the living room suffering a stab wound to her head. She was transported to by E.M.S. to shore Health for treatment.

The suspect was arrested and charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Attempted Second Degree Murder, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment. She was Held without Bail. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Maryland State Police.
