One person shot dead in Middletown home

MIDDLETOWN, NJ – The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a shooting death in a Middletown home that took place around 10 a.m. on Monday. Police said the shooting occurred at a Borden Road home in the Oak Hill section of the town. The MCPO has not issued any further details in the shooting, other than to confirm one fatality and that it was an isolated incident that posed no threat to the surrounding community.
