MIAMI, OH – If you have been wondering what the loud explosions across Miami have been over the past few weeks, wonder no more. Miami police have arrested a 25-year-old for setting off commercial-grade fireworks in the northern end of the township.

Miami Police reported they have arrested Thomas Stone, 25, of Loveland, Ohio for disorderly conduct and Illegally setting off fireworks. Stone is responsible for the loud “booms” in Northern Miami Township. The unexplained booms had residents on edge over the last few months and was the subject of several News stories.

Stone was setting off high-grade explosive fireworks causing the loud booms in the valley, resonating up and through Miami Township neighborhoods.

“We received hundreds of complaints, primarily in the early evening hours. The booms were also heard in Loveland and Symmes Township,” the department said in a statement.
