Juvenile Arrested on Firearm Charges Following a Call for a Stolen Vehicle

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS – About 11:08 PM on Sunday, 01/9/2022, Officers assigned to District B2 made an onsite firearm arrest of a 16-year-old juvenile male in the area of 362 Blue Hill Avenue.

Officers were advised via Operations that a vehicle was reported stolen, and a possible firearm was observed in the vehicle. Officers canvassed the area and eventually located the vehicle in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Savin Street. The occupants fled the vehicle on foot. Upon canvassing the area, Officers were able to locate the juvenile male, as well as a discarded firearm. Officers placed the male into custody without further incident.

The firearm was determined to be a Taurus PT 145 Pro, loaded with seven (7) .45 caliber rounds of ammunition in the magazine.


The juvenile male is to be charged with as a Delinquent to wit; Unlawful Possession of Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Unlawful Possession of a Loaded Firearm, Commission of a Felony While Armed, Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Buying, Receiving or Concealing Stolen Goods.

The juvenile male is expected to be arraigned in Boston Juvenile Court.
