Lady Lake, FL – The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance to identify a purse snatcher.
On December 7th, 2021, a theft occurred at the Dunkin Donuts located at 340 Colony Blvd., Lady Lake, Florida. An unknown woman is seen entering the Dunkin Donuts and shortly after going to the outside patio tables. Upon sitting down at a table she is seen locating the victim’s purse left on a chair.
The woman is seen picking up the purse and leaving the patio area. The unknown woman is seen entering into a black in color 4-door vehicle which was parked in the front of the restaurant. The same unknown woman returns a few hours later and returns to the Dunkin and hands the employee a plastic bag with some of the contents of the purse. The unknown lady appears to be possibly 65-75 years old.
