Fatal Queens house fire deemed accidental

QUEENS, NY – New York City’s Fire Department has ruled a residential fire on Monday was accidental. FDNY Fire Marshals say the cause of a fatal 2-alarm fire which occurred on January 25 at 230-17 88th Avenue in Queens was accidental due to and electrical malfunction. A smoke alarm was present and operational.
