Three arrested for dealing drugs in Panama City

PANAMA CITY, FL – An investigation into illegal drug activity leads to the arrest of three individuals and the removal of the dangerous drug fentanyl from the streets.

Investigators with the Panama City Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit were conducting an investigation into possible drug activity at a residence in the 1200 block of E. 14th Street. Through the course of their investigation, a search warrant was issued for the residence.

Investigators on Jan. 27th served that warrant and charged three individuals with various drug offenses:


• Jeffrey Javarius Williams, B/M, 28 was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Kenyatta Lewis, B/F, 46, was charged with possession on fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Michael Jerome Cook, B/M, 68, was charged with sale of methamphetamine.

In all, more than 24 grams of methamphetamine, 5 grams of cocaine, 2 grams of synthetic marijuana and 7 grams of marijuana were confiscated, along with 0.8 grams of fentanyl, which equates to 400 lethal doses.
