DALLAS, TEXAS – On January 28, 2022, at approximately 2:00 PM, the Dallas Police Department along with agents from Homeland Security Investigations-Human Trafficking Task Force conducted an operation resulting in the execution of three search warrants and two arrest warrants.

These warrants were related to a Human Trafficking ring that was being investigated by the Vice Unit, which received outcries from two victims that were forced into prostitution. The individuals arrested during the operation were 38-year old female Arely Lopez-Guzman and 38-year old female Fabiola Cardenas. The arrest warrants were for  Compelling Prostitution and Trafficking of Persons.

As a result of the search warrants, five females were encountered in the main target location, an apartment located at 5900 Arapaho Road. Interviews were conducted and one additional victim came forward. Mosaic, our victim service provider partner, was on the scene and offered assistance to the females encountered.
