On February 15, 2022, Marshall Allen Faulkner (DOB 8/4/1974) was sentenced to 25 years in prison followed by 25 years of Sex Offender Probation. Faulkner was convicted for 20 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.

“Anyone who sexually exploits children or consumes child pornography deserves nothing but a prison sentence,” stated Sheriff Carmine Marceno. “Thanks to my Special Victims Unit detectives and State Attorney’s Office, justice was served.”

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office began investigating the case in August 2020 after learning Faulkner may be in possession of child pornography. Detectives arrested Faulkner after a search warrant revealed he possessed sexual images of young children on a computer, USB, and SD card.

In addition to serving his sentence, Faulkner must also pay court fees and more than $6,000 in fines to the Rape Crisis Fund and to Crimes Against Minors.
