WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township Police Officer Orin McKay visited Old Mill School on Tuesday to teach students about the dangers of drugs, drug crimes, and peer-to-peer cyberbullying.

“Patrolman Orin McKay conducted L.E.A.D. training to a 5th-grade class at the Old Mill School,” the Wall Township Police Department said. “The Wall Township Police Department, in partnership with Wall Township Public Schools, has been conducting the L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) program at the elementary schools in Wall Township for the past eight years to protect our youth and community from the proliferation of drugs, drug related crimes, peer to peer cyber bullying and violence.”

The program is scheduled in blocks of instruction for ten weeks and will end with a graduation ceremony in May. The L.E.A.D. program is just one of many collaborative efforts between the Wall Township Police Department and the Wall Township Public Schools to provide a safe and drug-free environment for children.
